A born collaborator, David Fung is a highly sought-after guest at leading chamber music festivals worldwide and has performed with internationally renowned ensembles and their members including the Brentano, Dover, Emerson, Escher, Jupiter, and Verona Quartets; the Sitkovetsky and Gryphon Trios; Windscape and Imani Winds; and eighth blackbird, at festivals such as the Aspen Music Festival, Bridgehampton Chamber Music Festival, Caramoor, Crescent City Chamber Music Festival, Festival de Febrero, Grand Canyon Music Festival, Hong Kong Arts Festival, Music@Menlo, Ravinia, Tippet Rise, Tucson Winter Chamber Music Festival, and Yeosu International Music Festival.

Mr. Fung won the Prize for Best Chamber Music at the 2008 Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Masters Competition in Tel Aviv and is a founding member of the Manhattan Chamber Players. In recent years, Mr. Fung has enjoyed collaborations with violinists Tobias Feldman, Francisco Fullana, Caroline Goulding, Chad Hoopes, Sojin Kim, Tessa Lark, Cristel Lee, Anthony Marwood, Geoff Nuttall, Julian Rachlin, Daniel Phillips, Amy Schwartz Moretti, Hagai Shaham, Alexander Sitkovetsky, and Mark Steinberg; violists Ettore Causa, Paul Coletti, and Lawrence Dutton; cellists Zlatomir Fung, Andrei Ioniță, Ronald Leonard, Johannes Moser, Joshua Roman, Peter Stumpf, and Marcy Rosen; pianists Yeol-Eum Son and Yuja Wang; and Randall Ellis, Jose Franch-Ballester, Romie de Guise-Langlois, David Jolley, Alan Kay, Marya Martin, Frank Morelli, Tara Helen O’Connor, and William Purvis. A former pianist for the Yale Opera program, Mr. Fung enjoys collaborating with vocalists, most recently performing art song with Dashon Burton, Daniel Moody, and Liv Redpath.
